KIHEFO promotes local initiated solutions to fight disease, ignorance and poverty in southwestern Uganda
This was probably the most fun that I had during my month. The children at Rubira school will forever hold a special place in my heart. The overwhelming joy that I witnessed in the children was truly humbling. They welcomed me with open arms. I brought jump ropes and stickers for them, and they were so happy. I sat in on a math class and I was impressed at how smart the children were; they answered some pretty complex math questions effortlessly.
I had so much fun running around, kicking the soccer ball, playing Duck, Duck, Goose, and jumping rope with all of the children. The best part was the dancing. Rubira has some talented kids. They were a couple of dancers in the group and they really put on a great show all for me! I wish I could post the videos, but I can’t figure out how.) How cool is that?!…
