KIHEFO promotes local initiated solutions to fight disease, ignorance and poverty in southwestern Uganda
We took a trip to the Traditional Healer. This was a very interesting experience. We sat in the room that is used as his clinic area. He sees all of his patients in this room and showed us the medicine he uses. At the time we visited there was actually a lady in labor waiting patiently there while he spoke with us. It amazes me how welcoming they were, even with her in the back of the room and calm. Towards the end of our visit they danced for us and let us take pictures.
What is also extraordinary, is that the Traditional Healer and KIHEFO have a strong relationship and help each other.
